how to install and configure (testnet) soil - stepwise manualHere is my fabulous stepwise manual how to install the
testnetsoil node, with a few tricks and shortcuts to make my life easier. Shorter manuals are possible, of course - but I developed that one, because I wanted to understand each and every step, and make my system easy to use. And -yet unsolved(*)- as secure as possible, by locking down the firewall. Perhaps this helps anyone tonight.
The firewall iptables (*) I have understood better by now, so I might create a solution for that in the next days. If you know your iptables, feel free to try. My goal was to INPUT & OUTPUT drop ALL, apart from the soil traffic (and ssh of course) ... to create a hyper-secure node.
Anyways, these are the steps that I took to get the testnet node running, attached, DAG generated, and CPU mining enabled:

If anyone wants to make a shorter manual from that - yes please.
I will edit in my main net address here: ________________________________ - remember that
giving can make you happy :-)
Good luck to everyone for the launch!
EDIT: shorter manuals (will put them here once they are posted)
