It is not that simple. The American economy needs the destruction of other economies, in order to survive. For example their defense sector will be left rotting, if there are no wars going on in the third world nations. Similarly, their banking sector will collapse, without the cash flow from various criminal cartels and mafias. The same applies to the American industry as well (especially the petroleum and mining sectors).
