A Brief History of Events:

I am Dusty Ridge the Founder of Why Fund Inc. (a 501 C 3 NonProfit Educational Institution) and WhyCoin an altcoin formed to be a tool to be used to further the goals of the Fund.

I spent the last year or so, trying to get established coins to move into the field of computerizing education.  I invested thousands of dollars in various coins and supported them vigorously.  However in each case I was used and abused, and lied to.  I finally reached the conclusion...it had to be done right.

I am 78 years old, and have a background in Ranching, Farming, Military, Police, Stockbroker, IBM Systems Analyst, Commercial Fishing, and Real Estate Developer.  I had the good fortune of dropping dead at 49, and being brought back to life.  That tends to focus ones mind!  I have been happily divorced for 46 years and have 4 children, three living.  I have A BS Degree from San Jose State and had the misfortune of studying law at Berkeley (I learned I didn't want to be a lawyer).  I formed a company in the beginning days of internet and modified the search engine (University of San Diego software) to use.  I owned 400 domains and averaged $30,000 a month in profit.  I sent business to a bunch of kids who were trying to do the same thing....YAHOO.I got wiped out of the business by them and Google...along with Alta Vista who was the king of the search engines at that time.  That was the "wild west" period of the internet.

The fund is presently controlled by the incorporators and we are searching for five directors with knowledge and a fire in their belly to take control!

The coin was launched from the Reddit site because it was not seeking to sell coins, and a friend helped me give a way coins.  He kept warning me we had scammers by the dozens, but I determined that even a scammer would keep his wallet open and establish the network.  I didn't realize we had one scammer who had dozens of user names and wormed his way into our confidence...he ultimately held 30 million of the 80 million coins distributed.  He grabbed the WhyCoin user name on every possible site on the internet and attempted to extort 50 million coins.  He was able to block us from making an ANN site, and even had us banned.  I am happy to report he has sold his coins to four GREAT people for the price of a carton of cigarettes!

The base theory of the fund and the coin, is gather a thousand like minded people together, and use "Crowd Knowledge" of a thousand brains to achieve the goals.  It appears to be working!
