Bitcoin will not grow in volume with the economic growth. Its value will grow but this will make people hang onto it to spend later at greater value. Great reserve currency, ultra liquid gold. And buying stuff with it cuts all BS out of the transaction. It has a place, but will never replace fiat currency. It will keep them more honest. Wonderful addition to world currencies.
