Why do you say that? Being a free society helps in social issues, with the economy, etc. Without it it's harder and takes longer. But it's possible. Especially with america and europe becoming less free and more corrupt. Not a lot of competition coming from there anymore.

Nazi germany didn't fail because it wasn't democratic. Or because of the atrocities they did. It failed because it overreached. While china is strong no one is going to confront them directly. Governments in europe go along with all the things america does for example. Extraditing people to be tortured, killed, invading and destroying countries, etc. Why would they do anything different if it was china?
