Hi,

the Peercoin block chain experienced an unwanted fork because of a malicious transaction that was injected into the Peercoin network by an attacker. This is a serious issue. FairCoin being a descendant of Peercoin and is also vulnerable to this kind of attack. Only the latest wallet release contains the fix for this vulnerability.

I urge everybody to update your FairCoin core wallet immediately to the latest version 1.5.2. Download it here.

Please note: The electrum and the android wallet are not affected!
