The reason why you're winning on 999dice is because you probably don't bet too big amounts, so you're relatively safe; they probably don't manipulate your results as there's not really a gain to be made because you don't bet mass amounts of BTC. 999dice's "provably fair" can't be verified so your bets can be easily manipulated by the owner.
