My guess would be the plurality of English-speaking bitcoin miners are in USA, and so are most of the listed facilities, so listing USA first is convenient for the largest number of people?
All of the facilities are listed in English so they have at least one representative who speaks English. This directory is also 1.5 year old so why wait so long to make that change? I don't see any complaint in the thread that would ask for that change either.
If I'm remembering right, QG is Australian.
Which makes it even more suspicious because "national pride" is not what makes him do this, although that would be a terrible reason for the list change also.
Just because he is Australian does not mean he can not own shares of USA host or have been paid by USA host to make the change which is why I asked if he was willing to admit to any association with one of them.
We can both speculate as to why but the only one who can say for sure why he made the change is QG so hope he can make a statement explaining why.
Or we can stop speculating and move on. What difference does it make? Are you really suggesting that someone would choose a host from the US even though they need one in Asia just because the list is sorted that way? What about them poor United Kingdomanians then, those will never get to their list of hosts according to your logic.
