I would not go as far as saying that. There are some extremists in Islam though.
What I meant was, science is the most violent of all religions. I had thought that the word "religions" would be understood the way I said it. WWII was simply an example. More examples would be all the military inventions that come through science. But of course, they come through engineering of scientific findings, and more stuff is found through engineering than through science, itself.
