how can you sure he will thank to you? nobody knows if it will be true.
i guess the paper wallet would be broken for 10~20 years without placing this kind of paper wallet in a proper boxes or whatsoever.
I don't know how old are you, but please ask your mother or grandmother and she will show you how books or newspapers from cellar or attic looks like. and yes, it is just my personal opinion, everybody must decide by himself, what to do with money.
