Like I said, if it´s almost totally worthless it´s probably for a good reason.
So...since there are only 9 altcoins that are worth more than NXT...then there's probably a good reason it's been one of the top 10 most valuable coins for the past 2 years?
Each unit is practically worthless but there´s a billion units so the whole is still worth something..
I guess the same idiots invest in shitcoins and penny stocks.
It's actually a pretty cool coin, it is always on the bleeding edge of tech with it. Decentralized marketplace and shapeshift built right into the damn thing, it has a billion coin cap so the only way an 1nxt = 1USD would be pretty is if the the Market cap was 1/5th of bitcoin or about 8 times as large as Litecoin, so that is a pretty big stepping stone. It is cool that it isn't a fork as almost all other coins are forks off of forks but it is an original java coded coin and definitely is worth some looking into.
I only think about 4-5 coins are going to remain around those Being 1. Bitcoin 2. Litecoin 3. Dash 4. NXT 5. Peercoin (and possibly ethereum or an other coin but they seem to be like a tech item that while great now will be made obsolete by a new version and that's all they have going for them)
Definitely look into it though.
