You have to dump ur privatekey on version 1.6.1 with ur old wallet.dat...
After this, you have to import privkey into version 1.6.2...

I have a problem with my wallet. I used version 1.6.1. Before I tried to change to 1.6.2, I saved wallet.dat file. Then I followed 6-step procedure like explained of forum. Wallet 1.6.2 synced OK, but when I put wallet.dat file back into Roaming directory, wallet crashes. I tried 10 times. Any suggestions?

After this, you have to import privkey into version 1.6.2...
Should ur wallet seems be empty so resync with following moves:
1. Delete everything in roaming except wallet.dat
2. Start from new version 1.6.2 after importing ur privkey and wait till syncing finished...
