Hi.
I have a problem with my wallet. I used version 1.6.1. Before I tried to change to 1.6.2, I saved wallet.dat file. Then I followed 6-step procedure like explained of forum. Wallet 1.6.2 synced OK, but when I put wallet.dat file back into Roaming directory, wallet crashes. I tried 10 times. Any suggestions?

You have to dump ur privatekey on version 1.6.1 with ur old wallet.dat...
After this, you have to import privkey into version 1.6.2...

i had the same situation, had tried several times to load the .dat, went through the dump and importprivkey, when done the addys were there, but didn't have balances.
started all over again
old wallet
listaddressgroupings...
dumpprivkey...
close old
rename fly roaming folder
make new roaming/flycoin folder and put copy of wallet.dat in it
start latest ver. qt
at that point it was all good; didn't have to import after all
