How is the seller protected from the buyer claiming they didn't recive it or sending back a different item than they recived etc
The only one protection from this type of scam is
collateral in MultiSig escrow. It will encourage both sides to be honest, and if something happens with the parcel to conduct a thorough investigation and find consensus.
