Well I just checked and with the firmware that is on the controller card that is my S5+ it only goes to 500 Mhz. Which leads me to my next question, could an S7 controller card work on an S5+ card. I sent the OP a PM to see if he got this straight from bitmain or 2nd hand. I have a funny feeling about this but kind want to leave it at that until I get more information. If he tells me 2nd hand, I am 99% certain I know who it is.
The original S7 Controller and the S5+ controller were identical. I think later S7 had a new controller? Tupsu is the expert on this, let's see what he has to say?

My batch 5 controller is labeled on the upper part of the metal piece
Model S7 Version 2.0
but bottom an the lower plate is Model S5 Version V1.71
BBB is not labeled only Q.C. PASSED
