I do not think so. I think it will get easier in the future.
Bitcoin however doesn't have a effective costumer support. There's no one to call if you're having trouble with bitcoins. I'm talking about those people who don't know how to use google. After they don't get how to use/buy bitcoins they just give up. Majority of people aren't programmed to rethink the money that they use, this means that this process could be a bit more emotional than other things.

This is the advantage as well disadvantage of a decentralized system. We need to careful before transacting in bitcoin. A well thorough guidelines are more important to follow to avoid any frustrating situations with bitcoin ecosystem. After such a guidelines I do not see bitcoin as a complicated system.
If a person sucks at finding those guidelines, what then? No one will rescue that person. Try to put yourself in that persons place, you're frustrated about all this shit about private keys and public keys and blockchains and whatnot you understand literally nothing about any video talking about bitcoins. What would you do then.

A lot of people need personal guidance with bitcoins, however how do we find such people? If you try to explain bitcoin to someone uninterested about bitcoin, the main reaction is typically that he won't look into this topic. However there are a lot of people interested in bitcoin, but just don't know where to get started. However the process of dumbing down bitcoin will continue for at least 5 more years until we've reached a critical level if people don't get bitcoin by then they are utter retards.
