~250MB a day adds up quick when you have a 150GB cap. My DSL connection also freezes up a lot when I start a download which is made much worse when I'm running p2pool. I limited my p2pool incoming connections to 5 and my Bitcoin-qt connections are limited to 10 and it's still noticeable.
