edit: I can do up to $50. I can also trade in $5 increments to protect the both of us.
BTW I attempted a trade here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1270165.0 , as you can see I sent first and the trader received my money, but he wasn't able to send me his BTC, so we cancelled the trade. Just to show that I'm obviously willing to send first.
