This is easily solvable, whatever you spend in bitcoins this week, you just go and buy on the exchanges in the end of the week. This is how you boost Bitcoin economy, you boost transactions and you won't miss out on buying a house.
That's at least what I am trying to do as much as I can!
Yes it must be used always so the money can circulate. They are afraid of something else it is the lack of knowledge that scares them. Bitcoin might be a little hard to learn but while using it and asking,reading news and more you will get used to it.
