That's a valid reason to leave.  She/he had an idealistic view of things.  I still think Dash is the best possible way of achieving the same goals, but yes, it needs to run in the traditional, proven to be successful ways: IE, a business with a product.  But a completely decentralized business with a decentralized, earth shattering life changing product.  

I suspect Vertoe is young and thus highly idealistic and not able to think outside her box.  She may be right, and this approach may fail to push the world in the right direction.  Certainly, it won't be done in a radical way, but in an easing, bring the world into the fold way.  It's young Malcolm X vs. Martin Luther King Jr.  I prefer MLK jr. as the right, non-violent solution.
