I also assumed maybe wrongly that cryptonote was made after Bytecoin.
Because i never heard a word about it for years once but i HAD heard of Bytecoin many years earlier.
Can we pre-date Cryptonote to Bytecoin ?

EDIT: So Bytecoin was the first CryptoNote coin.
It's doubly confusing though, because there was a Bytecoin that was practically a straight clone of Bitcoin which existed long before the Cryptonote Bytecoin was publicly released. But yes, Bytecoin was the first Cryptonote, and it had an insta/ninjamine that put X/Dark/Dash to shame, around 80-something % of all coins.

Does that mean there is two Bytecoin's then ?
