I know this is a very noobish question, but... Can i mine with a Dual Core 2.4ghz CPU laptop? I'm only using free bitcoin websites to earn bitcoins and then buy a good computer to invest in bitcoin mining. Also, sorry for my bad english, i'm brazilian hehe ._.
If we will focus on the question that if it's possible to mine with a dual core CPU, the answer is YES of course. It's just that it will take a decade or more to get your first 1btc thru your beloved CPU "laptop".
