I tried the above method last night using NameCoin and it worked.
Might be the right time to get your coins out if you have them there. Im Teir -0- so I still have a couple more withdrawals left to go.

Just send short friendly message if they can cancel your pending withdraw. Other alt coins are still able for withdraw best to take your coins out even with a small lose.
