I was using bitcoinmarket.com at the time. There were other options for buying/selling such as OTC, NewLibertyReserve, and the forum, but bitcoinmarket.com was the closest thing to an exchange.
I have more old trade data if your interested, going back to about April, 2010. Volume is relatively low but one can't miss the wild yet largely forgotten July, 2010 rally.
If you have the data easily accessible, I would like to see it.
How difficult was it to trade back then? Were there any 'big' trades of 10,000 or more?
