My first post !

I run 2x 5870 and had to wedge them apart (due to 5mm gap only, wedged to 3-4cm) and results in one having to be tuned down slightly to run at 71.5'C @395Mh/s, the other one runs at 62'C @ 420Mh/s Smiley

You can buy risers which are designed for low profile cases that essentially turn the board 90', or you can buy a PCI-express x1 to x16 converter and place it in one of those short slots  further away if available..

It's like a brain teaser puzzle but it is possible, you don't want your cards running over 75'C continually as they will die much sooner I presume ?

Unfortunately I have the XFX edition and cannot change the voltages Sad

But still manage to maintain a healthy 800Mh/s, for now..

Is it still worth mining? I think so, bitcoins are not worth much at the moment and do not plan to sell any time soon, think for a minute why there would be as many as 8 decimal places ? Smiley

MiningBuddy >> I am planning on doing the same and face the same issue with airflow problems, the one thing I thought about if there exists anything such as a male to female pci-e cable extension thingymagik, then you could put your 5870s anywhere you want and have them run nice and cool ?
