I tend not to talk to much about it. I have mentioned it and encouraged them to do their own research to determine if it is something they want to pursue. Just wait though, you may be the one laughing in the end - all the way to the bank 
Well you can't "win" that, if bitcoin is down it's "I told you so", if it's up you just were lucky. If the people I told about bitcoin back in the days had bought only 10 bucks worth of coin that'd be a quite nice christmas gift now. They still haven't bought any because it's to late anyways (wish I could buy more of that to-late coins now).
Whatever, doesn't matter, you can't change people and most simply won't give a fuck about how money works, just enjoy your extra bucks if you're up and the awesomeness of using bitcoin
