really find it hard to believe this claim is true.

it was not a hack and his account wasn't stolen, otherwise we would see a password change in the last few days, weeks? And the last password change is 6 months ago when people say he sold his account. So he either sold his account, which makes him a scammer or he is the one scamming directly which makes him a scammer.

It did change on 17 December.

There was no password change from 14 August 2015 till that date.

If his account was hacked , the man didnot bothered to tell publicly he was hacked. It makes sense the man's account was not hacked. It was a pre-planned scam (directed by an impersonator from August 2015 or the real man himself)
