Just uploaded blk0001.dat in a zip file to google drive 390MB synced to date
I use to have the same problem but with the help of SLievensDRKSLK I fixed it in two days of syncing
maybe you can do it quicker

Also have the silkcoin.conf added to your Silkcoin folder just in case (It just wouldn't sync for me without it)

If it's still too slow to sync ask here for more peers since I'm in Europe and some peers won't work for you if you're across the ocean, they'll be too slow
I now copy all my Silkcoin folder every day to a safe place and transfer it back if any problem arise (takes only minutes) ~800MB

Thanks for the help, brotha! Your Silkcoin folder was most helpful. All I had to do was copy the txleveldb folder, the .lock file and the blk0001.dat file over to mine and boom, up to date! At first none of my coins were in the wallet but starting the wallet with the -rescan switch fixed that.
