I agree. This advise is particularly stupid given the current situation. What someone can afford to lose is a pretty dynamic function. Someone's financial situation can change in a real hurry. Now, if someone had BTC on Cryptsy, instead of being able to use it immediately as a resource to help alleviate an unexpected financial crises, they have to either wait and wait or go with some alternate strategy where they end up getting less value.
