[EDIT: I suppose the other thing is it might be better to run experiments on testnet rather than bitcoin or putting clear warnings for users if you have not. People could lose bitcoin running partial implementations of incomplete ideas. Encouraging users arent understanding it is a research project to run experimental code with real Bitcoin under it's control or even on the same machine, would be inadvisable.]

People were still using real coins and losing them all the time on experimental software. Are any of the core devs open to us having a fundraiser to finish cleaning up the code and testing the dark wallet implementation or is this a matter of all the focus on bitcoin core at the moment?
