I used to use Ubuntu, but I have switched to Mint now.
Mint sits on top of Ubuntu and focuses on usability - so basically it has everything Ubuntu has + more and it's more polished.
I think you will honestly enjoy it more.
(I have no "stocks" in Mint, I'm just really blown away by how user friendly Linux has become/can be and need to share it
)
