The solver of the puzzle apparently knows what he/she is doing, since address re-use is bad.

It is true that our puzzles are not "provably fair". We made the puzzles, so we could give away the answers to certain persons, this is unavoidable in this game type.

What really adds on to it is,I believe the contest is advertised on this forum and unfortunately nobody from the forum is solving the puzzle but somebody else.@OP is it like the puzzle is advertised elsewhere from this forum that we're unaware of ?

Absolutely! We post it on Reddit, facebook, twitter, IRC, our website and so on.
