ideas, when decentralized, are more resilient than anything. without the same influences acting on the majority and making a seeable change in thinking, ideas will never change completely, or even shift a significant margin. with this case, any debate concerning a religious idea is going to have multiple facets and multiple sides arguing for different points. i think its safe to say that a discussion like this one will last quite a long time, even if the IS crisis is left behind in history, that negative stigma will always exist.
