My friend Marisa started working with:

https://www.facebook.com/events/1382512475311385/This is a group of volunteers that take in the sick animals. These are friends that decided they wanted to help. In this group they take care of operations, medicine etc which is paid for by donations. They do donation rounds for the person/animal that most needs it in this moment.
In Marisas case however she has lost her house because the owners do not want sick animals!!! and needs a new place to stay, she herself cannot afford more then 300eu rent per month for a small apartment. However if people would help her to pay a little bit more rent per month she could take a house with a small plot so she can take in more animals and dedicate herself fully to the animals. This means that she will be taking in animals that cannot be paid for by the volunteers nor the organization since donations are always spent.
What Marisa does is take in the sick animals and nurse them back to health. When the dog is healthy and happy again they search for people to adopt the dog and she takes in another sick animal to cure. This is the only way to get the dogs adopted because no one wants to adopt sick and psychologically disturbed animals.
This is why I am trying to set up this fundraiser
It is very frustrating for her not to have money to get rid of parasites or buy medication or go for a much needed operation.
