One more US-based pool would likely help the forking issues.
I think I can get the cost down to $20 a month using Linode.
I just can't risk using existing equipment due to DDoS and stray asshats who punish our intrusion prevention.
If you'd consider a static monthly donation, I'd provide free mining.
Otherwise, I' think I'd have to do .5% to cover the costs.
Please PM me and/or post if you're interested in mining, or what you'd consider donating for free mining.
I'll post commitments, if any.
thx!
Hi there davembg
There are already 3 pools nobody is using... cryptopia, crytopools and my NOMP pool.
The problem is the lack of community actively managing hash rate spread between available pools and therefore allowing danbi's pool to run off in the wrong direction - not a lack of pools.
Yeah, I see that now.
Good, saves me time an headache:)
Then, we need a POW submitblock cap in the code - self-monitoring isn't working.
3-forks in one-years time is bad, bad news.
And where you can see the fork? Now there were no fork.
There was a deliberate attack on the network that were dropped several pools but since the reactor was the biggest wallet POS minting it switched over in the solo mode.
I personally checked and I can say that all transactions worked.
