There are a lot of Windows 10 anti spying software, which anyone can install. And keep in mind that, not all people have enough computer skills, to use Linux 
IMHO anyone who is able to install anti-spy-software (and knows about it) is able to run linux... try elementary ;-)
(btw i wouldnt trust any spy software with an automatic updating os. and running an os without recent updates is a bad idea too - so i dont think anti spy software helps you here - or do you expect your "not having any computer skills"-user to check that their anti-spy-software is really working by sniffing network streams?)
