I think there is no best or good strategy because yeah it depends of luck that you can make a good profit but if you are greedy you cant get the good profit or it will turn to lose. Gambling is not a job to earn some money gambling is for fun if you are lucky you can make profit.
I think even you always play in gambling and if you always lose and sometimes you win i think you cant get all your lose because you made lose many times than wins...
So you still lose but if you play on lottery then if you win even 1 time you will get more profit even you lose many times because lottery jackpot prize  is a big money if you win...
