At these settings my S3+ hums along at 500GH/s. Are you saying the voltage field is meaningless and has no effect on the miner? I'm not sure I agree.
My understanding and all of my measurements on a single S3 & an S3+ show that the Core Voltage, measured externally, does not change, also Power at the wall does not change. It is however possible that some other parameter internal to the chip is changed as there are people who claim that the setting has some effect.
