Another thing that can also be done, is to report both Cryptsy/Project Investors & Vern along with the staff to the IRS, those guys will rip through every deatil and can  put a hold on any assest sale if they suspect fraud, more over vern will have to show how he obtained monies to buy home at 1.5 mill etc.
