I can quote the bible too:

"If a man sells his daughter as a servant, she is not to go free as male servants do. If she does not please the master who has selected her for himself, he must let her be redeemed. He has no right to sell her to foreigners, because he has broken faith with her." Exodus 21:7

"Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result, but they are not to be punished if the slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property." Exodus 21:20

"If a man seduces a virgin who is not pledged to be married and sleeps with her, he must pay the bride-price, and she shall be his wife." Exodus 22:16
(This is a great law for any rapist who wants to marry his rape victim... not so fun for the woman who is required to marry her rapist)

"Whoever sacrifices to any god other than the Lord must be destroyed" Exodus 22:20
(better start killing those other religions... God commands you to!)

"Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man." Numbers 31:17-18
(kill all the men, but keep the virgins as your property... now that's a plan!)
