hey kano...just a quick question coz i dont understand
...i mined yesterday not for long on your pool,and I stoped ,I am still getting payd for blocks found even tough I stoped mining whats up with that?(not complaining for free btc ,just dont understand how your pool works,and i quit it coz i tought bitminter is more profitable )You submit a share, it gets rewarded in every block over the next ~5Nd after it, ~1/5 it's value each time, expected average ~5 times if luck is 100%.
That's how PPLNS works, even at that 'other' pool. Just a different N value. Here N = 5Nd
Here the payout variance will be a lot lower for 2 reasons: bigger pool and larger N.
Kano, don't worry, the explanation of the Payouts under Help is actualy very ... well, helpful. When used with the shift graph its actually very easy to see how you hash rate will effect your payout for shares submitted.
