Those definitions are subjective, but definitely not under 100/1000. He's compromising on the blocksize.
The general public might be completely in the dark about who runs core now, but people that eat, live, and breathe bitcoin aren't as easily fooled. As a moderator on this forum, you are indirectly (at best) sponsored by Blockstream.
