Technically it isn't the loked thread fault but yours. You were te one who decided to deal with that perso even tho you already know that the thread is already locke and is suspicious. The lock thread option does more of a help in the forum rather than problems so I don't think it'll be removed. You just need to be more carefull in next time.

Yes I agree 100% on its my fault that I was scammed I will eat that one. Not trying to point finger here just asking a question...What is the job of the forum moderator? If someone is spamming is that the moderator job to ban or delete the post? If the seller is sold out can't they simply edit the first post and say SOLD OUT?

Yes all of you are most likely right....nothing will ever be done but I thought I would throw it  out for discussion anyway.

I'm with you about not having the permission to lock threads for the regular users, most of the forums as far as I know don't give a thread lock permissions for regular members. And so only those who have valid reason has the right to reply to old threads (which i think can be considered locked). those who bumps for th epurpose of spaming get to be banned.

What you can however do Chris, is try creating a new thread pointing to the scammer. i doubt he'd be back to respond though. you cant get your btc back but then you get to warned users about the scammer.
