Unfortuantely not. Bitcointalk has a lack of following and notifying own posts. This is a pitty in some hope.
We can only hope that the new forums software will bring such features.
I agree, I think it'd be a useful feature. There are tons of things I like about this forum the way it is, and it's far better than some of the other forums I belong to, but there's definitely room for improvement. Thanks OP for asking about this and thereby suggesting it.
