From the feedback I will go ahead and aim for the 24 hour
transaction life times.

I have a solution to not harm the current game and that is
to dynamically reduce the future deposit inputs time to live
to be rounded up to the next hour of the last active
transaction in the list, e.g. if the last tx is 96:55:20 then
all future deposits will start at 97 hours and this will keep
dynamically reducing itself as and when it is possible.

There will be a notice message on the site stating this
will be in effect in case it takes anyone by surprise who
doesn't read the forums.
