For me it's kind of opposite at least for day trading. I got nice money with bitcoins on long and short positions, but when e are speaking about lots of trades every day - altcoins work better for me...
In terms of everyday trades, altcoin trading fits to this category.
Bitcoin exchange trading really needs patience but when big rally comes you can grab a really decent large amount of earnings.
That is a good strategy. But we do not know the timing of the big wave. We do not know when to buy and sell.
