Hee hee hee ^^^ funny

But honestly, I don't get it. I *think* all the innovations we see at Dash and Ethereum and other altcoins were directly inspired by Andreas. I guess only Evan can say if he was inspired by the things Andreas said, because I don't honestly know. I only started in this space in December 2013. But from that point on, I heard all these ideas first from Andreas. And I would think, being that we're following what he preached, that he would be so much more involved with altcoins, especially Ethereum and Dash. But he's stand-offish. So strange, that I can't help wonder if he has a chain around his neck?
Oh yeah totally! I had seen the Bitcoin logo once or twice before late Jan '14, when I saw AA's youtube talk at the Jefferson's Club, which completely blew my mind inside out. It was specifically because of him that I took Darkcoin seriously. It was a crash course on where the future could head.
What he says here is true, no doubt. Lapalissade truths. Everything is all nice and dandy, but can "they" survive the network effect? Because if it can't, it's all very nice but not really that useful.
Having said that, it seems that is his generic answer when dealing with anything other that Bitcoin. He's a smart fella, and he makes his money on the big market cap that bitcoin has.
I've yet to hear him deeply analyse anything other than bitcoin. Sure, he can go on about Dash this and Ethererum that, but it's all awfully generic most of the time. It's easy to eloquently bash Ripple for being in cahoots evil boogie-man banks... But that's it. Or talk about generic Turing Complete programming implications of Ethereum etc etc... but he never gets down and dirty with the actual juicy stuff outside the BTC realm.
Even still, I love to hear him talk.
