I would rather suggest all lenders to take his account as collateral next time and never send 1 BTC at first go.
Since he repays late every time he has no right to ask for 1 BTC at first.
Why dont he ask for half of it, repay and then ask the another half?

I think that extension is already enough to pay your loan besides with your sig campaign, I think should've been able to repay it easily within a month..
