Speaking of roulette... i once read a book about a person that became rich because he was very unique. He was able to predict the number by doing Kesselgucken. It's a german word because he was german. It means like watching the pot. In fact he watched the roulette and was able to see fine things when it turned. Little errors in spinning and such. He then was able to predict in which area the ball will likely to come to stay.

Though that is not possible now anymore since all the roulette tables are made practically flawless now.

Anyway, it was possible at one time.
