You are not being criticized for no reason, and in fact there is very good reason to criticize you. All you've given so far are excuses why you can't repay your loan and attempts to deflect this criticism by playing the victim. You're not a victim. You're late is what you are.

I agree that I borrowed money, I am late and I laid bets (from my friend's money)...
I know this doesn't look good and is obviously going to harm my reputation here, but all I can say is, wait for just 1 day and see whether I repay or not...
